My Story – The Heart Behind Together As One Bridal

 

As a proud military wife and former treasurer of the Non-Commissioned Officer Wives Club in the 1970s, I discovered early on my love for hosting events and creating unforgettable gatherings. It was during those years that my gift for hospitality and event planning began to flourish.

 

One day, a close friend asked me to plan her wedding. At first, I thought she was a little crazy — but I said yes. That wedding was a beautiful success, and it sparked something deep inside me. I realized this was more than a favor; it was the beginning of a passion and a purpose.

 

After completing formal training through the Bridal Institute of California, I officially launched Together As One as a wedding and décor company. With a dedicated team of five talented members, we worked tirelessly to bring our clients’ dreams to life.

 

In 2018, after retiring from full-time federal service, I expanded my dream by opening Together As One Bridal Boutique—a brick-and-mortar space where brides could experience a full-service bridal journey.

 

Then, like many others, we faced unexpected challenges when the pandemic hit. Our boutique, tucked away in a less visible location, struggled to attract foot traffic amid COVID-19 restrictions. Despite the hurdles, we remained open and committed to our brides and our mission.

 

In March 2024, we made the heartfelt decision to close our physical storefront and transition to a home-based and e-commerce bridal business. Today, Together As One Bridal continues to serve with the same passion, creativity, and personalized care — just in a new, more flexible way.

 

This journey has had its ups and downs, but one thing remains constant: our commitment to making every bride feel special, seen, and truly celebrated.
